A night with rugby legends.. Gordon D’Arcy and Darren Cave!
Join us on Friday 20th September for an evening with ex-Irish internationals Gordon D’Arcy and Darren Cave. Kicking off at 8pm, the players will divulge the highs and hardships of playing at the highest level the game.
An avid rugby pub, Slattery’s Pub was destined to be the iconic match day pub it has become. Quietly opening on a Friday in November 1989, the following day saw Ireland take on the All Blacks on Slattery’s doorstep, Lansdowne Road Stadium. Sparking an electric moment that would stay with Irish rugby fans forever, Willie Anderson led the Irish team, arm in arm, towards the All Blacks as they performed the Haka, coming face to face with the mighty team.
